Skills Required and Job Description:

Job Description: The Senior Oracle Applications DBA will be responsible for overall architecture, design, development, and support of all Oracle Tech Stack components including but limited to -- Oracle 10g RAC, core Oracle Database, Oracle E-Business Suite (APPS) 11i and Fusion Middleware (SOA 11g). The person will be responsible for performance, testing, execution and tuning Oracle Apps, DB and WEBLOGIC Application server Skills: Required Well versed on the maintenance and support of applications in an Enterprise Environment. Excellent skills in Oracle DB administration and tuning Experience in Configuring, Monitoring and Tuning WebLogic domains in HA / clustered environments Proficient in UNIX and Shell scripting Significant experience in managing / administering Oracle E-Business Suite, particularly System Admin module & WORKFLOW. Full cycle SDLC experience. Proven mastery of troubleshooting techniques and ability to solve problems quickly in a high pressure environment. Must have excellent decision making skills, especially when imperfect information is available. Must foster an environment of learning, progression and accountability. Ability to interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity. Ability to function as an effective team member. Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves. Experience: Required A minimum of 8 years of experience working in Information Technology. Preferred A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle DB, APPS and Middleware technologies. Education: Required Bachelor's degree in Science, Mathematics, IT or equivalent Preferred Computer Science major.
