Title: Sr.Director Enterprise Architecture
Location: Memphis, TN
Duration: 6-12+ Months CTH

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
·Lead the creation and evolution of the IS enterprise architecture, including the coordination of an appropriately balanced pursuit of enterprise business, information, technical, and application architectures.
·Understand, advocate, and support the enterprise's information technology strategies. Lead the identification and analysis of enterprise business enablers to derive enterprise business, information, technical, and solution architecture requirements.
·Analyze the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvements along with technology industry and market trends as well as determining their potential impact on the enterprise.
·Promote the enterprises architecture process, outcomes and results to the organization, including the enterprise's IT and business leaders. Lead and facilitating the creation of governing principles to guide information, technology, and application decision making for the enterprise. Oversee the evaluation and selection of hardware and software products, as well as the design of standard configurations.
·Consult with application development and infrastructure development project teams to fit systems to architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate project needs. Identify organizational requirements for the resources, structures, and cultural changes necessary to support the enterprise architecture.
·Oversee the documentation of all architecture design and analysis work. Ensures the architecture is regulatory and statutory compliant.
·Recruit, develop, retain and motivate a virtual IT team operating at a high performance level. Make appropriate business decisions regarding the "extended staff" model to maximize the effectiveness of all resources - internal staff, consultants, project staff and external service providers. Develop a user-centric service attitude in IT staff to enhance both internal and external customer focus through responsive and innovative technology.
Must have experience in the following key areas:
•Multiple implementations of global ERP applications, preferably SAP.
•Optimization of business processes through organizational change management.
•Project Management principles and methodologies with several successful implementations.
•In-Depth knowledge of hardware, Operating Systems, and their market trends.
•In-Depth knowledge of vendors supporting key solutions and their market conditions.
•Knowledge of WAN, LAN, and Inter-connectivity technologies.
•Management of technical and business resources and their optimized utilization.
•Management of out-sourced resources, both hardware and people.
•Alignment of technical solutions to business strategies.
·Building Working Relationships. Developing and using collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Consultative in approach.
·Improvement Focused. Thinks creatively outside the usual boundaries; questions the status quo; initiatives, drives and manages new ideas to achieve the IT vision and goals.
·Gaining Commitment. Using appropriate interpersonal styles and techniques to gain acceptance of ideas or plans; modifying one's own behavior to accommodate tasks, situations, and individuals involved.
·Successful Team member. Supports and works effectively with others, internally and externally, to achieve common goals and objectives. Using appropriate methods and a flexible interpersonal style to help with the completion of team goals.
·Customer Focus. Making customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships. Passionate about service delivery and meeting the demands of the customer.
·Planning and Organizing. Establishing courses of action for self and others (where appropriate) to ensure work is completed efficiently.
SCOPE
Budget - Manage project and initiative budgets where responsibility relates to oversight/delivery.
Supervision - Directs a global multi-cultural virtual team that may consist of FTE, contractor and/or other IT matrix resources across a number of global locations.
Champion ideas and accept disagreement with maturity and with the good of the business at heart.
Internal Relationships - Work and partner with IT and Business leaders, external partners/directors and be able to interface directly with senior management when necessary. Earn and maintain confidence of their core customers, both inside and outside of the group, to foster teamwork and support the vision and goals of the IT organization.
External Relationships - Work and partner with IT and Business leaders, external audit partners/directors and be able to interface directly with senior management when necessary.
Organization Influence - Earn and maintain confidence of their core customers, both inside and outside of the group, to foster teamwork and support the vision and goals of the IT organization.
Limits of Authority - The individual is responsible for Global Technical and Application Architecture requirements, design and governance. The VP Information Security and IT Governance is responsible for the overall actions of this position.
