Job description

•         Requesting EAR deployment at lower environment on need basis by creating RFS or by sending e-mail

•         Submitting RFS/NIR to seek WAS configuration changes such as changing J2C configuration settings to change FIS region, restarting JVM, recycling Object Grid Servers, etc.

•         Submitting RFS to update DataPower MPG routing, creating processing rules at WSP, changing WSP configuration, enabling probe etc..

•         Triage, troubleshoot web services issues at lower environment by coordinating with WAS and DP team

•         Assist in problem determination of production issues in coordination with WAS, DP team

•         Troubleshoot and resolve issues faced by channels while accessing web services, assist them in obtaining expected response

•         Making use of tools such as SOAP UI, SOA Test, SQL Developer in triaging process

•         e-mail coordination with various groups at TD

Skill set

•         Intermediate knowledge about SOA, XML, Web Services

•         Basic knowledge about the following products

o             IBM HTTP Server

o             WebSphere Application Server

o             DataPower

o             Database products in general

•         Familiarity with enterprise architecture, servers, storage, virtual machines

•         Experience in Using SOAP UI, SOA Test from parasoft for web services testing

•         Basic knowledge about ITIL processes (Incident Management, Change Management)

•         Knowledge about application support process
