Position: Oracle Developer

Duration:  3-6 months

Location:  Stratford, CT

Interview Mode:  Phone (face-to-face interview REQUIRED)

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the full development cycle of Planning, Analysis, Design, Development
• Support testing, implementation, debugging and tuning of data centric applications
• Participate in design of logical & physical database model
• Develop Oracle SQL DDL/DML scripts, PL/SQL packages, functions, procedures, triggers and materialized views to implement data integrity constraints and business logic
• Write complex queries, views, and data manipulation statements.
• Work collaboratively with other application developers to provide them with necessary queries, views and stored procedures and the necessary insight into the data layer
• Fine-tune procedures and SQL statements for optimal performance

Required Skills:

• Minimum 9 years as a database engineer with proven experience in application development using Oracle and PL/SQL
• Solid experience in SQL, PL/SQL Development, Analysis, Design and Implementation using Oracle RDBMS
• Experience in database application development, logical and physical data design, optimization and performance Tuning
• Excellent technical skills with expertise in data modeling and design using Oracle Designer, SQL Developer
• Strong Experience in developing database objects like tables, indexes, Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers using SQL and PL/SQL
• Experience with data flow diagrams, data dictionary, database normalization theory
