We are looking for DevOps Engineer support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is 3-6 Months Contract position based in Seattle, WA.

 

Role : DevOps Engineer

Location : Seattle, WA

Duration : 3-6 Months Contract

Experience:  8-10 Years

Skill :

DevOps, Release Management, .NET, Java, TFS, GIT, Jira, MS Release Manager, PowerShell, Selenium, Jenkins, AWS.

 

Job Description

·             Work with the project teams to design software version management considerations such as repository configuration, branch/merge strategies, and release management process.

·             Work with CI/CD development team to ensure CI/CD tools are configured to comply with the designed version management processes.

·             Attend change management, release planning and implementation meetings with key stakeholders to identify proper sequencing of release components/packages and to review release readiness plans, milestone reviews and business go/no-go reviews.

·             Develop KPIs, communicate and measure release performance and effectiveness

·             Document and communicate all changes for a release in release notes which are published to stakeholders.

·             Serve as an escalation point for any release issues or needs related to a release.

·             Maintain a release schedule and repository with key information, such as release procedures and dependencies

·             Provide release coordination and communication during and after deployment including providing executive level dashboards for release events.

·             Develop working relationships with the business, environment managers, code management and operational readiness groups to maintain a collaborative relationship that values transparency, operational stability, and timely delivery of business value through application releases.

·             Identify opportunities to make improvements to the release management process
