Title: Java Developer
Location: Lincoln, NE
Duration: 1 year contract
Requirements and Qualifications:
5+ years of business application development experience is required.
3+ years of experience with Windows, Linux, JBoss, and Java is strongly preferred.
3+ years of experience working with SunGard OmniPlus Defined Contribution (DC) is preferred.
3+ years of experience working with mainframe technologies: COBOL, IBM JCL, MVS, TSO/ISPF is preferred.
3+ years of experience developing / supporting Defined Contribution systems is preferred.
Working knowledge/ experience with Omni Administrator Web, Omni IVR, OWS, and OmniLink is preferred.
Working knowledge/ experience with Control M, Oracle DB, RightFax, and JIRA is desired or the willingness to learn them.
Working knowledge/ experience with Xerox print technologies VIPP and Elixir is desired or the willingness to learn them.
It is preferred that candidates work in the Lincoln office, but remote candidates will be considered if there is a willingness to relocate to Lincoln/Omaha area if this position becomes a long term position.
Demonstrated ability to interact with cross functional workgroups.
Ability to adapt and flourish in a fast-paced business environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to handle projects with minimal supervision as well as work in a team environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide production support for Omni Administrator Web, Omni IVR, and OmniLink.
Provide production support for core OmniPlus and custom 401(k) system components.
Work with the OmniPlus Support team and business subject matter to expand the use of Omni Administrator Web, Omni IVR, and OmniLink.
Work with the OmniPlus Support team and business subject matter to expand the use of core OmniPlus.
Provide weekly status to Lincoln IT Management on assigned projects and tasks.
