Job Role               :Hadoop Admin

Duration              :long term contract

Location               :NJ

Looking for GC USC and H1B or H1B transfer

 

 Job Description:

·               4-5 years of engineering operations experience, including 1-2 years of Hadoop experience.

·               Strong Linux administration experience

·               Expertise in building and tuning Hadoop clusters

·               Very Good understanding of HDFS, Map Reduce and YARN concepts.

·               Familiarity in maintaining NoSQL clusters, like, HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis,

CouchBase, etc.

·               Good experience deployment automation tools like Puppet, chef, docker, etc

·               Proficiency in scripting languages (bash or python)

·               Strong knowledge of open source monitoring tools such as Nagios, Ganglia, Zabbix.

·               Team player with good communication skills and ability to perform under pressure
