Urgent Need of WebSphere Admin in Boston, MA................Locals Only

Title: Web Sphere Admin

Location: Billerica, MA

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3+ yrs.- 

Interview Process: phone screen and onsite

 

High-level: Job description – glance: Linux with exposure to Middleware for deployments (JVM-WebSphere, Tomcats)

•             Middleware Software – WebSphere,  Apache, Tomcat

•             Understand Database Software – dB2, Oracle, Mongo DB (understand it but not needed to support it)

•             Understand Virtualization APIs – Have exposure to VMWare, Hyper-V for end user knowledge

•             Linux Infrastructure – DNS, LDAP, SMTP, SNMP, NFS, DHCP, SSH

•             Ticketing systems- Assyst, Rally, Atlassian Jira or similar, Salesforce

•             Agile Development methodologies (we use sprints & Kanban/Rally)

I have attached a refined job description and I am really looking for someone who has exposure to Linux (Red Hat, CentOS) and is interested or exposed to middleware (Tomcat, WebSphere).  The environments that this person should have worked in would be IT or Hosting teams whereby virtualization, storage, firewalls (F5's) and understands networking (DHCP, DNS, SMTP, SNMP,  NFS) and any monitoring systems.
