SQL Server DBA Location:  Charlotte, NC Requirements: This is a SQL Server DBA Position. Must have worked as a SQL DBA in a senior level position for about seven years. The below expertise will be required and must have hands on experience with the following: 1. Transaction log shipping, Replication, Database Mirroring, and Always On 2. Must have practical experience in the usage of Partitions. 3. Must have practical experience in working with Windows Clusters  4. Senior level experience in doing performance tuning of SQL databases.  5. Must have installed and supported SQL instances up to current version 2014. 6. Must know how to upgrade and trouble shoot SQL Patches. 7. Provide 24 x 7 production support and be very flexible with regard to working hours. 8. Must have extensive experience in providing SQL support to customers and computer Operations and know how to open a case with Microsoft and follow it through to resolution.
