Location          : Boston, MA

Duration          :  6+ Months

 

 

Job Description:–

• Adobe IDE(Mandatory)
• JAX-RS - Java API for RESTful Web Services(Mandatory)
• HTML 5

Software Engineer Adobe Acrobat and Applescript (Plug in) Developer - Enterprise Delivery Ctr

This position is to work in the clients Publishing and Creative Services Group. They put out client books to their investors and they are looking to automate their books to eliminate their publishers.

 

Keys to the Job:

Candidate must have Strong Apple script experience, Adobe in design scripting experience, shell scripting, and OSX platform knowledge.  They need to be able to deal with the whole stack.

Candidate must be able to developing Adobe Acrobat Plug Ins. (This is not an Adobe Flex position)

They need to have the ability to interact with Web Services

Person needs to be intuitive and should have good UI experience.

Candidate should have good SQL skills

Candidates can come from a .net or a Java background.

If the candidate has the above skills, then the other skills listed below are a nice to have.

 

Job Description: The successful candidate will join a team of highly motivated engineers in building an Adobe Acrobat Plug-In to seamlessly interface/integrate with the firm's growing arsenal of automated publishing components.

 

Daily Activities:

Design and develop and intuitive, cross platform (Windows and OS X) Adobe Acrobat Plug-in.

Help design and implement high-quality, (print) production workflow

Leverage the HTTP/SOAP client in the Acrobat

Author Design and Operational Readiness Documentation

Understand a business domain model with complex business rules

 

Education/Experience: 

Must have solid experience in client-side Adobe Acrobat (plug in) development

Must possess software design and development experience

Must be able to work independently with little supervision

Skill and Experience Details:
Minimum Experience Required: 5-8 YEARS

Mandatory Skills: Adobe IDE, JAX-RS - Java API for RESTful Web Services Information Design, User Interface Design, Usability

Desirable Skills: HTML 5
