We are looking for a Hadoop Admin with Big Data to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is 3-6 Months Contract based in Charlotte or Minneapolis US.

 

Role: Hadoop Admin with Big Data

Location: Charlotte or Minneapolis US

Duration: 3- 6 Months Contract

Extension: Yes

Experience: 5+ years

 

Job Description:

 

·         Individual should be able to work independently across Hadoop/Big data stack.

·         Hands-on knowledge of Map-reduce, Pig, Hive and other tools such as oozie , zookeeper etc.

·         Experience across various distribution platforms such as Cloudera, MapR and Horton works.

·         Ability to design and make architectural recommendations in Big data platform.

·         Should be experienced in Hadoop Cluster Administration activities.

·         Should have experience in designing, building and implementing Big data solutions and executing POC's.

·         Should be conversant with Teradata, and ETL tools.

·         Should possess strong communication skills and analytical skills

·         Financial services domain background will be preferred.
