The primary role of the senior  IIB developer  is to produce midtier software utilizing 

IBM Integration Bustechnology specifically v9).  This software must have high quality, be performant, and comply with coding standards.

 

 Locations: Roanoke city in Virginia state and Buffalo, New York

Work Experience

 Solid development  and troubleshooting experiences with  IBM Integration Bus technology; experience with design and development of enterprise level messaging solutions; ESQL, PL/SQL programming language; performance testing of messaging solutions; ObjectOriented Programming languages such as Java or C++; Oracle databases; IBM Websphere Message Broker toolkit; AIX and Linux OS;

 

Responsibilities

 

 Works individually or as a team member on large projects.

Develops software in IBM Integration Bus, version 9 (1B9) based on technical mapping requirements.

Partner with systems analysts, architects and other engineers to design solutions based on gathered requirements.

Play a contributing role to overall architecture, design strategies and planning discussions and decision making.

Ensure solutions developed are technically compliant and follow best practices.

. Conduct design reviews and code reviews with development team.

 Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree

 8+ years of software development experience

5 years of experience in systems analysis and design with lls/Websphere Message Broker

. Proficient in ESQI and Java.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

. 2+ years of experience with IBM Websphere MQ

 Preferred Qualifications

  A general understanding of web services

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Science
