Job Title : Windows Server Admin
Location : Tallahassee, FL
Duration : 6+months Contract
Rate : $45/-hr on C2C
Job Description:-
This resource will primarily be tasked with performing windows server and application software support activities for BSSO including, but not limited to the following:
Support and expand FDOT infrastructure.
Coordinate server configuration and administration with multiple parties (SSRC, FDOT, and contractors).
Troubleshoot end user (FDOT and the general public) issues.
Make recommendations for future server and software upgrades.
Monitor networks and applications to ensure security, availability and performance.
Must have a good a good understanding of
Server 2008 and 2012.
Network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS.
Samba/CIFS file sharing and NTFS permissions.
Knowledge of Citrix and the Information Builders, Inc – WebFOCUS/iWay reporting environment is a plus.
The candidates considered for this position must be capable of independent work success, have good communication skills, and disciplined to follow BSSO processes and procedures.
The candidate must be able to hit the ground running in a minimal amount of time.
