Position: Citrix XenApp/Desktop Engineer
Duration: 6 months
Location: San Diego, CA
· The Manager is looking for a XenDesktop 5.6 and Provisioning Services 6.1 expert. The candidate should have experience with implementations and daily administration. Experience with the newest versions of XenDesktop 7.6 and Provisioning Services 7.6 would be great.
· Experience with Citrix "VDI in a box" would not be a good candidate. The Manager is not as concerned about which hypervisors the candidates is familiar with.
· The candidate will also need to do some daily "break/fix "and they have to be a team player. Someone who considers "break/fix" beneath them probably won't be a good fit.
· Client is looking for a Xendesktop resource to not only work on their current 5.6 environment but plan and implement a migration to the newest version 7.6.
· They would like to be able to utilize this resource for other Citrix functions as they come up but primarily xendesktop. They have 2 in house Citrix engineers which is down from 4 engineers.
