The responsibilities of the ETL Developer include, but are not limited to, participating in a team approach to:

·         Capture and load source system data via ETL processes into the data warehouse using Informatica

·         Install, upgrade, and maintain OBIEE 11g software performing initial testing of product performance in the Development environment

·         Configure and manage a multi-user development environment including RPD and catalog migrations through Dev/QA/PRD

·         Optimize ETL data load jobs to improve performance and automate them and identify and create solutions to improve system performance and availability;

·         Develop and maintain logical and physical dimensional data models for Data Warehouse/Data Mart

·         Develop, test and implement program logic for ETL development and efficiently implement team developed ETL technical specifications

·         Following agency standards to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis and coding as performed by the ETL process

·         Write clear documentation and implementing unit test plans and quality assurance plans

·         Investigate and resolve data loading and/or data integrity issues

 

Skills Needed:

·         72 Months Demonstrated hands-on experience in Oracle environment designing and developing ETL processes using ETL tool Informatica for data loads OBIEE environment

·         12 Months Demonstrated hands-on ETL development experience in Oracle environment with Informatica 9.0 or higher

·         24 Months Demonstrated hands-on development experience using ER Studio for dimensional data modeling for OBIEE 10/11g environment.

·         60 Months Demonstrated hands-on ETL development experience using UNIX scripting and/or command language

·         24 Months Demonstrated hands-on experience with Performance tuning and Optimization of sessions, mappings, sources and targets, Production support, trouble shooting and solving migration issues, and identifying errors during data loads and transformations for OBIEE 10/11g environment.

·         72 Months Demonstrated hands-on ETL development experience in an Oracle environment writing SQL and PL/SQL coding

·         12 Months Demonstrated hands-on ETL development experience using Visual Source Safe to store and maintain ETL code.

·         24 Months Demonstrated ETL development experience working with HIPAA data requirements (working with data contained in Patient Medical Records, Employee Records and Healthcare Provider Records in a State Agency, Federal Agency or Private Organization) in a data warehouse environment.

·         Bachelor degree in computer science, information science, health science, engineering, or mathematics, A copy of the diploma must be submitted with the Candidate Response Form
