Job Title: JAVA J2EE DEVELOPER
Location: Wilmington, DE
Duration: 6 months


Job description:
•Java, J2EE Developer. Some .Net experience a huge plus
•Responsible for the development of the various components within a specified application, as well as incremental testing of the integrated components and modules as they are completed.
•Implement the day to day development tasks to ensure adherence to standards and priorities.
•Review and jointly develop, with the BSA, the project development and implementation plans, system equipment specifications, and department standards. Provide accurate estimates for the development
•plans and system equipment standards for the applications developed or enhanced.
•Assist in the creation of development methodologies, naming conventions, and data modeling approaches. 
•Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture and other IT units in the development of tactical plans, designs, and specifications.
•Implement the daily development tasks in accordance to development methodologies
•Provide estimates for development and implementation plans
•Tactical planning and design specifications
•Actively participate in the modification efforts of the application, including the assignment of project related tasks
•Review and document applications in all phases of development to ensure adherence to development standards 
•Test applications in all phases of development to ensure proper functionality and end- user acceptance

Required:
•Hands-on experience in leading data and/or business modeling tools.
•Extensive knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle experience in Object Oriented utilizing development tools,
•J2EE and/or .Net along with SQL and/or Oracle.
•Certificate in at least one major development tool, with 2 certificates preferred.
•Proficient analytical and problem resolution skills.
•Some experience with design, development, testing and administration of various types of systems, and databases.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to understand end-user needs.
•Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies.
•Ability to use logic and critical thinking skills to accomplish objectives and identify and resolve problems.
•Demonstrated understanding of accountability, effectiveness, and efficiently produced quality work.
