Position: C#, WPF, ASP/.Net Developer/Analyst with R programming Exp.

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Duration: 6+ months

 

Analyst/ Developer  (.Net/C#, WPF, R Programming)

 

Job Description:

As a technical member of the Operationalize MuSE project team, the individual would employ analytical methods to evaluate and document the design and development of the requested system enhancements leading up to the implementation of the next software release of the Modeling and Simulation Explorer (MuSE) system. This will include the evaluation of the existing system software, interaction with the PK/PD modeling scientists and the technical project team members in order to effectively analyze, report and represent the key design requirements for the assigned tasks.

 

Responsibilities:        

·         Analyze, Design, Develop, Test and support system  software for implementing and running virtual patient simulations in a production environment

·         Define and justify technical requirements

·         Deliver the production software solutions adhering to company standards and practices

 

Technologies:

·         C#, WPF, ASP.Net

·         Database Designing – Oracle

 

Knowledge of following subjects would be required:

·         Command Line program execution

·         Programming of Charts and Graphs (background in R for multivariate data visualization preferred)

·         Understanding of System Development life cycle (SDLC)

·         High mathematical proficiency

·         Experience with any PK/PD modeling and Pharmacometric software tools (NONMEM, MATLAB, Physiolab) desired.

 

The Position needs to possess the following skills:

·         Strong and effective inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all team members.

·         Fluency in English, both verbal and written

·         Minimum of five years' industry experience of software development

·         Experience in analyzing information, software algorithm design, software design, software debugging, software development fundamentals, software documentation, and software testing

·         Demonstrated experience translating business needs and requests into functioning software

·         Proven ability to take the initiative to drive the design and influence highly technical and cross-functional teams without formal authority

·         Ability to meet deadlines, work within project timeframes, and to quickly adapt to changing business needs

·         Innovative & creativity

·         Planning & organizing skills

·         Business Orientation / Knowledge
