Role: Sr. Java Front End Developer

 

Location: Manhattan, NY

 

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Interview Process: Telephone + In-Person (No Skype)

 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

·       Expert level skills in the design and development of web front-ends using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript etc.

 

·       Experience with JavaScript application frameworks such Ext.JS, JQuery, AngularJS

 

·       Proficiency in developing rich, dynamic, interactive front ends that integrate with complex backend services

 

·       Intermediate skills in Java and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate

 

·       Familiarity with SQL and databases such as Oracle

 

·       A consummate team player that can work on demanding projects under extremely tight deadlines

 

·       Demonstrates creativity, the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions

 

·       Strong experience in JavaScript, especially closures, event-driven communication, and prototypal inheritance strategies.

 

·       Experience consuming web services (XML, JSON) using Ajax and rendering dynamic content.

 

·       Knowledge of template languages like JSP, JSTL and ability to build custom tags and java helper utilities.

 

·       Penchant for optimizing page load performance for best user experience.

 

·       Ensure code and design quality through the execution of test plans.

 

·       Good understanding of Web analytics and SEO techniques.

 

.       Experience extending or customizing existing products/frameworks such as ATG, Endeca Experience Manager and /or Adobe CQ are a plus.
