Hope you are doing great today. I have following very urgent requirement with me. Please email me your candidates with below details that match the following skills perfectly, we can close this position very quickly.
Teradata ETL Developer (with a Mainframe/JCL background). This will start out initially as a 12-month contract at least. We are ideally targeting candidates that are somewhat local to the Atlanta area, and able to drive here for a F2F as it will be required after a successful phone interview.
Location: Atlanta GA (need local)
Position: BI - Teradata ETL Developer
Start: States 8/1 but will start sooner if identified
Length: 12 Months (initial)
· Mainframe Zeke experience and/or JCL are critical
· This person will be on a team of 4 developers, 1 lead and 1 lead architect on a funded capital project
· Most of the data is in the mainframe and will be brought out by Teradata for reporting. Need to have strong mainframe competency. They don't need to be mainframe developers.
· The requirements are already there and they just need people who can translate requirements and develop.
· They need to work on-site and he does not want to Skype – F2F required
· Not sure of version but he feels that they are on 14. He does not think it really matters unless they are working on really old versions.
Requirements:
1. 5+ years of ETL experience with Teradata databases
2. Mainframe MVS JCL programming experience
3. Experience with Teradata load utilities
4. Testable strong SQL with complex queries
5. Proficient testing skills – unit, system, and integration
6. Experience tuning ETL for performance and efficiency
7. Experience creating and executing large scale testing plans
8. Very good verbal and written communication skills
9. Experience delivering an ETL solution that conforms to the requirements specified in the specifications document
Preferred:
· Experience with IBM InfoSphere Information Server (DataStage)
· Experience with ChangeMan MVS code versioning software
· Experience with Zeke MVS Job scheduler
· ETL experience with other databases (DB2, SQL Server)
· Experience in design and development for large projects
Assignment:
· The candidate will work on a project team to develop the ETL processes for the Revenue Data Warehouse. Incumbent must enjoy working in a team environment developing ETL solutions. The candidate will use specification and design documents to create, test and implement ETL processes that will load Teradata from the mainframe data sources. The candidate will also participate in developing and executing test plans and remediate issues found during testing or post implementation.
