Consultant required for the below mentioned position.

 

Position: Business Analyst

Duration:: Full time

Location: Oak Brook, IL

 

Job Description:

Objectives of this role are to facilitate the certification of hardware before it goes into the restaurants and develop the processes for new solutions that will be deployed to the restaurants. The candidate must be also have some project management skills to help create project plans for the devices being certified and track to the plan to ensure proper completion. The development of the process for new solutions uses many of the same skills required for software development but focused on how the hardware to be used within the restaurant and how it is to be deployed. A solid understanding of hardware technology and uses is required.

 

Details from Customer Call:

Business Analyst with good communication skills. Need not be full techy, but not a pure BA as well :-))

Will co-ordinate with multiple vendors / groups about their status of installation in stores .e.g. USORT, OTP Group, Restaurant Design Group

Someone who can assemble information from different groups and communicate the same to the vendor e.g. develop new brackets for a device

Example: For Smart Clock deployment, this person will be responsible for managing the vendors

Someone who can work with Technical Lab Analyst to understand overall setup

Not just a hardware or software person – have well rounded knowledge in computers i.e. Understands how computers works, drivers are updated etc.

Very Good Communication Skills is a MUST HAVE

Knowledge and experience in POS is a plus

MS Access knowledge is a plus
