Job Title: Technical Architect -- HP uCMDB

Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island

Duration: 8 months (extension possible)

 

Experience Level – TL (10+ years overall experience)

 

Job description:

 

 Responsibilities

 

·         Participate in Estimation, Requirements Analysis, Design and Development for End to End implementation of HP uCMDB/UD (Universal Configuration Management Database/Universal Discovery)

·         Participate in discussions with customers to gather scope information and perform analysis of scope information in order to provide inputs for project scope documentation

·         Participate in requirement elicitation process defined in the project management plan to identify requirement gaps/issues (both functional and non-functional) in order to come up with a comprehensive requirement document

·         Perform high and Low level design , provides pseudo codes, Implements the prototypes and does design reviews in order to deliver design documents as per customer requirements

·         Mentor the team in Technical Competencies and provides performance feedback of the individual team member to the Project Manager in order to manage performance

·         Interface with the customer for issue resolution, provide status updates, Build customer confidence in team's ability to deliver in order to support high customer satisfaction.

Skills:

We are looking for HP uCMDB professionals with the following skillsets:

 

1.       Must Have Skills

·         Solid working experience in HP uCMDB/UD covering Technical and functional modules

·         Design and implementation experience in HP uCMDB/UD

·         Strong ITIL domain knowledge particularly in Service management and Asset Management.

·         Ability to understand customer requirements and do effective feasibility analysis

·         RUM integration experience is a plus

·         Working experience in federation, push adapters, population of uCMDB

·         Strong working experience of AM Push Adapters is a must

·         Design knowledge in sizing, scalability, multi-tenancy

·         Experience/Knowledge of Integrating HP uCMDB with 3^rd Party applications

·         Domain: ITSM and ITAM

·         Operating Systems: Windows

·         DB – Oracle, SQL Server.

 

2.       Desired Skills/Certifications

·         Experience in implementing HP uCMDB as a product for customer needs and provide effective consultancy services

·         HP uCMDB Integration experience with 3^rd party products

·         HP uCMDB/UD hands-on experience

·         HP uCMDB Certification is a plus.

·         HP CIT experience is a plus.

 

Qualification: Bachelor's/Master's degree

 

Experience Required ( In Years): Overall experience of 10+ years in the IT industry with atleast 3+ years on HP uCMDB/UD.
