Rate: $55/hr c2c

Location: Chicago, IL

  • This person will be part of an internal SharePoint consulting group getting people to use it for everything. Needs a BA who has the experience technically as well as being evangelical.

  • The reason for an architect as they want this person to be able to connect the dots with the users. Dealing with the business and tech is the art.

  • Person must have WEB development experience/SharePoint Designer is a MUST

  • IIS and SQL SERVER (MUST)


What we are looking for:

  1. BA to assist multiple business units with identifying specific requirements to create the appropriate
  2. information for building the appropriate SharePoint solutions.
  3. Collaborate with SCS developers and project management teams from the design to the delivery of
  4. SharePoint applications.
  5. Work with customers and project managers to gather both functional and technical requirements, assess
  6. current business and technology architectures, and make decisions around SharePoint strategy and implementation.
  7. Understand when SharePoint is the right solution and when it is not and the ability to communicate this effectively.
  8. Assist SCS team in translating business requirements into high level technical specifications
  9. Coordinate and assist in system and user acceptance testing when applicable
  10. Ensure Client SDLC process is adhered to with the business
  11. It is also vital for your role as a Collaboration Business Analyst that you have exceptional
  12. communication and interpersonal skills, and that you can convey complex information in a clear and
  13. concise manner to team members as well as individuals at all levels of the organization. You should also
  14. have a work style that is more process-oriented than task-oriented.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience with SharePoint 2010/2013, understanding of OOTB features and when to apply them.
  • Bachelor Degree in a technical field
  • Minimum 5 years related experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience, with particular focus on serving as a liaison between technical and
  • business team members
  • Understanding of processes for a Banking Institution a plus


Technical SharePoint-specific experience and skills:

  • Must possess an in depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and SharePoint Designer 2007.
  • Knowledge must include architectural design, web parts development, management and troubleshooting with a focus on
               planning, deploying and supporting enterprise SharePoint implementations.
  • In depth experience with Collaboration, Portals, Enterprise Search, Enterprise Content Management, Business Process and
         Forms, and/or Business Intelligence.
  • SharePoint experience must include SharePoint Designer workflows, effective use of the data view web part (DVWP),
          content query web part, data form web part, navigation customization, and some branding customization.
  • Web development experience (HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, JavaScript) is required.
  • Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization) is required.
  • Experience configuring and working with Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) and SQL Server 2005 is required.
  • Experience with server installation, performance tuning is not required but valued.
