Position:  DWH/ETL Tester

Locations: Northbrook/ Chicago, IL

Duration: Long term Contract

 

Job Description: 

Skills: DWT Testing

Extension Possible:  Yes 

Experience:  5+ years

 

Expertise in one of the ETL tools like Abinitio/Informatica mandatory
Quick starter, proper maturity in order to get up to speed with our top engineers
Should have in depth knowledge of SQL and have the ability to create complex SQL queries
Should be strong in UNIX /Shell scripting     
Ability to understand design documents and deliver both positive and Negative test cases out of the design documents
Ability to perform through analysis of the design documents and debug job failures            
Excellent Communication skills.    
Should have good Client interfacing skills      
Should have good Analytical skills
Some main duties indicative of required competences:            
Planning high quality tests to achieve objectives in cooperation with the customer and supporting them on how to best achieve the required objectives        
Executing tests, analyzing results and doing immediate quality control of the tests to ensure problems are quickly detected and immediately addressed.
