Java Developer with Ruby on Rails-Foster City (CA)-12+ Months

Job Title:Java Developer with Ruby on Rails
Location: Foster City (CA)
Duration: 12+ Months

Main Criteria: Candidate must have API development and Ruby on rails experience

Qualifications:
•BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related degree
•5+ years of experience designing and developing complex Java/Rails applications
•Experience of n tier application development using J2EE, ROR, Jruby, Node
•Experience in OO design and design patterns
•Experience in creating automated build and test environments using Ant, JUnit, Rspec, Cucumber, Selenium, Mocha, Bamboo, git, svn, Buildforge etc
•Experience in relational database design, optimization and performance with databases such as Oracle, DB2, or MySql
•Exceptional oral and written communication skills along with ability to work together as a team

Desired Criteria:
•Experience of SOA or Web Services SOAP, REST
•Familiarity with Javascript, JSTL, JSF, JSP, AJAX, CSS, JSON, XML, NVP, SPLUNK
•Experience with Agile methodologies/Scrum/XP
•Experience in a Banking, Financial Services or Payments industry
•Experience in API gateway integration is a plus
•Experience in building SDKs, IOS, Android etc.
