Skills Required and Job Description:

MOI: - Telephonic + Face 2 Face Keys to the Position: 5-8 years of C# development experience  COM API experience is a must Excel integration experience is a big plus Excel Object Model, VSTO, Excel DNA or NetOffice a strong plus This position will be working at 100 Federal Street At a high level, the team is looking to hire a consultant for 2-4 months to help them improve the performance of an Excel application.  They currently have 65 charts embedded in this application and they are looking for a consultant to remove the charts from the application that will increase the performance.  There is a chance that this consultant will be able to transfer into a different team if things go well and it is possible for the resource to get extended but the initital duration is 2-4 months Descriptions: The project will build and integrate a real-time application with models in Excel. This position is responsible for technical design, coding and unit testing.  Responsibilities: Technical design, implementation, and unit testing Partner with Business Analyst and Application Architect to review and implement business requirements Partner with Project Managers, Technical and QA Leads on estimates, statuses, identifying issues and raising risks. Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and a proven ability to design and deliver software assemblies relevant to complex business problems. Four to Eight years of GUI development using Microsoft technologies Four years of .Net development experience using C# Solid experience with the .Net framework version 4.0 or higher Proficient in test first development methodology and knowledgeable of entire software lifecycle WPF or WinForms proficiency Excel Object Model, VSTO, Excel DNA or NetOffice a strong plus Knowledge of charting technologies a strong plus PL/SQL knowledge a plus Strong motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment that supports a business-critical production environment Computer Science degree or related field
