Job Title : Product Release Manager
Job Location : San Jose,CA
Duration : 6 Months +
Product Release Manager
Specific activities include (but are not limited to):
• - Facilitate release planning readiness and related events
• -Aggregate/document team objectives into Program Release Objectives
• - Assists with program execution and tracking towards completion of Program Release
• - Works with cross-functional stakeholders to develop and evolve long-term strategies while consistently driving tactical activities.
• - Works with Product Management and others to help assure strategy and execution alignment
• - Makes strategic decisions and gains organizational acceptance.
• - Leads cross-functional teams; influences and coordinates activities across multiple teams and organizations.
• - Drives program-level continuous improvement
• - Makes tactical and basic strategic decisions around quality and metrics.
• - Influences, coordinates and negotiates within cross-functional teams and across and outside the organization.
Requirements:
Typically requires BA/BS degree or equivalent with 8-10 years related experience or a MS/MA and 5 years related experience in a large organization.
• - Experience managing programs related to development of the cloud infrastructure stack
• - Certified Scrum Master preferred
• - Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework a preference.
• - PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
• - Experience with release & launch into market.
• - IaaS & PaaS experience.
Other strongly preferred proven skills / experience include:
• - Experience implementing new technologies and approaches
• - Highly effective communication and customer relationship management skills
• - Experience working on virtual teams
• - Demonstrates subject matter expertise in a new technology and solution deployment
• - Ability to influence stakeholders at the Director and VP level
• - Effective leadership capability
• - Out of the box thinking; disruptive approach to problem-solving
• - Global experience - Strong internal influence skills and leadership
• - Ability to successfully manage multiple complex activities and major initiatives
• - Demonstrated ability to drive and lead significant cross-functional initiatives
• - Demonstrated superior business judgment and independent decision-making
