Job Description and Requirements:
The SAP CO MM Consultant for roll out will be working as CO Consultant 50% of the time, and for master data DTO (mainly material master data) for the other 50% time. The Consultant facilitates the implementation and support of SAP Financials and Controlling to enhance the clients' business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction.
•Designs, configures and tests core FI/CO modules (GL, AP, and AR).
•Designs, configures and tests Asset Management.
•Designs, configures and tests Consolidations in EC-CS.
•Designs, configures and tests CO-PA.
•Responsible primarily for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients.
•Acts as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigates, analyzes, and solves software problems and maps client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
Qualifications
Skill and Experience Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Finance / Accounting).
•CGA or CMA Accounting designation; nice to have.
•Minimum four years of SAP FI/CO configuration experience.
•Must have at least one full lifecycle SAP R/3 implementation experience (Project Preparation till Go-Live).
•Must possess strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS standards.
•Exhibits business knowledge and process design skills.
•Able to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations.
•Possess strong organizational skills.
•Able to collaborate with clients, and have a strong desire to excel.
•Must possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
•Should have good interpersonal skills.
•Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload.
•Able to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
•Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
•Must be an effective problem solver.
•Must be willing to travel in North America when required.
•Reading and understanding of ABAP code; nice to have.
•Experienced in Report Writer and Report Painter.
•Experienced in Product Costing and Material Ledger.
•Knowledgeable with key integration points with FI/CO modules.
