Consultant required for the below mentioned requirement
Position: Java Developer with web service experience
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6+ Months
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Essential Job Expectations:
· Experience in developing software for distributed systems with the high performance, scalability and availability
· Own and drive development and delivery of features in the API
· Quick learner, ability to navigate through engineering processes. Guide other team members as necessary
· Familiar and comfortable with the technologies, the tradeoffs, and the design patterns emerging in web services
· Deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You have a bias towards action and results
Qualifications:
· 12+ years software development experience
· BS in Computer Science or related degree required. MS preferred
· Experience in developing high performance, scalable and available web services using J2EE and frameworks such as Apache CXF and Jersey
· Knowledge of object-oriented design and design patterns, and programming skills
· Excellent knowledge of programming languages, especially Java and C++
· Experience in designing software and/or platforms used by other developers, and have supporting those developers with the adoption of your solutions..
· Good understanding of web services and SOA related standards like REST/OAuth/JSON and SOAP/WSDL.
· Excellent communication and writing skills
