We have a requirement with our direct client for a Developer with Oracle Forms
Position: Developer with Oracle Forms
Duration: 6 months with 2 year extension possible
Location: Helena, MT

Responsibilities:
· Work closely with Projects Section business analysts or other subject matter experts, as directed, to understand the underlying business requirements associated with a form/report
· Analyze forms to determine existing functionality so that essential functionality does not get missed in the rewrite. Determine if enhancements to functionality are required through discussion with Projects staff.
· Deliver production-ready, working software every sprint period. Such software will be reviewed by pertinent customers at the end of each Sprint period. Contractor may be asked to demonstrate the working software to customers during the sprint review.
· Adhere to development and coding standards. Code produced by the contractor will be subject to periodic code reviews.
· Adhere to testing and software migration processes.
· Take technical direction from the Application Development Manager or designee.
· Take work assignments and priorities from the Project Manager.
· Regularly update assigned tickets in JIRA ticket system to reflect current status, attach appropriate documentation, insert relevant comments, provide initial estimates and story points, and provide updates to reflect actual time.
· Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including daily scrum team meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
· Provide system documentation and, if required, knowledge transfer to technical staff, as identified by Application Development Chief to support the application(s) after completion.
Required Skills:
· Skilled in software analysis and design
· Ability to work independently and self-manage
· Ability to work well within a team
· Ability to build positive working relationships with project and program team members
· Considerable skill developing with Java, Json, JQuery, Struts, Hibernate, MyEclipse IDE, or other very closely related technology
· Experience using Subversion code repository
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Minimum of three years software development experience utilizing all skills listed above
· Substantial experience performing software analysis, design, coding, and testing activities
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Proficient in Mozilla Firefox (FWP's default web browser) and Microsoft Internet Explorer
· Familiarity developing in Oracle 10g forms/reports and PL/SQL
· Familiarity with Oracle databases
Highly Desired Skills:
· Familiarity with Agile development methodology and frameworks (preferably Scrum)
