Skills:

Required Oracle Skills:

•             10g , 11g RAC Configuration

•             10g/11g Running on Red Hat Linux

•             Several years of experience in the patching and installation of Oracle on Unix/Linux

•             Ability to troubleshoot performance problems using Oracle Traces (TKPROF, Trace Analyzer) and stats pack

•             Several years' experience in RMAN

•             Oracle Performance tuning, specifically SQL, PL/SQL, and General DB tuning

•             Performance tuning with large tables, including BLOB's, Bfiles, Partitions, and DW

•             Experienced in shell scripting .

•             EMC/Oracle Performance (Disk) tuning

•             Experience in Oracle Monitoring (Custom Shell/Perl/SQL Scripts)

•             Experience in Oracle Enterprise manager.

 

Beneficial Oracle Skills:

•             Cursory knowledge of the Oracle E-business Suite

•             Ability to act as Oracle apps DBA

•             Perl Scripting, including understanding the DBI Interface

•             Hardware, and Operating System monitoring … preferably with Custom Built scripts/ EM

•             Some Experience with Data Guard Maybe Helpful or real-time replication.

•             Familiarity for Oracle analytics and OBIEE
