Required Experience & Skills: 4+ years of work experience in consulting or a related industry 2+ years of experience in business analysis and requirements elicitation/management Excellent oral and written communication skills Able to make recommendations, both written and verbal, in a way that demonstrates clarity and confidence Advanced analytical skills (e.g., use of Microsoft Excel and/or Access to analyze data) Advanced writing skills and experience utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint and Word Strong attention to detail Ability to work independently Able to work successfully in a team environment and produce high quality client-ready deliverables Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Experience & Skills: 2+ years of experience preferred within the health and human services, eligibility and/or case management business domain Proficiency in eligibility and case management policies and domain knowledge in eligibility programs such as SNAP, TANF, CHIP, child care and Medicaid Experience with State Agencies and local government Analytical skills and strong problem solving abilities Technical background in IT, IS or Computer Science
Responsibilities/Expected Deliverables: Conduct requirements gathering Write use cases, create process flows, and/or create system architecture diagrams and sequence documents Facilitate client meetings and JAD sessions Translate requirements into functional design Create technical specifications to be used by developers Design screen layouts and navigational flows Develop design specifications for correspondence, reports and/or interfaces Develop/capture eligibility rules using decision tables and/or decision trees. Contribute to discovery and communications processes for issue identification/resolution and risk identification/mitigation strategies Write test cases, create test scenarios, or participate in testing activities for new functionality in an eligibility system Effectively interact with client personnel Prioritize assignments and be proactive/anticipate client's questions and needs
