A NYC government agency located in New York, NY is looking for a .NET Developer for a 12 month contract.

Required Skills
· Resume must contain references to two or more enterprise level projects that were successfully completed.
· ASP.Net (VB.Net or C#.Net), any other programming languages Java, C++, PHP, and ColdFusion
· JavaScript (not to be confused with Java, this is a Java 1.1 implementation and used on the client side)
· Good Understanding of OOP (Object Orient Programming)
· Good Understanding of application life cycle and state management
· SQL language (may be SQL Server, Oracle, Informix, or My SQL)
· HTML and Style Sheets (responsible for the look and feel)
· Web Services, SOAP and XML important as many AJAX controls work against Web Services
· AJAX technologies, especially AJAX Toolkit since this is Microsoft free control library, knowledge working with custom calls and events
· One or more of the reporting engines; Crystal Reports, SQL Reporting Services, and Active Reports
· Working Experience with IIS, IIS Security and Windows Security

Plusses
· VBScript

Job Description
The consultant will work with management, business users and IT to provide programming / production support and application testing, debugging programing as required, finding resolutions for development team issues, troubleshooting long running programs and recommending code modifications to the development team.
