SCOPE OF SERVICES:
- Resource will Work with the IT Security Engineering team to plan, design, and implement security RSA Netwitness solution as part of the IT Security Netwitness initiative.
- This resource will analyze current Citynet architecture to ensure that the environmental and operational requirements (hardware, software, and infrastructure) are met.
- Will Configure the NetWitness Appliances to include application of necessary software updates, network configuration, device interconnection configuration and user account configuration; verify basic system functionality to include traffic capture and proper data flow through the various system modules.
- This role is critical to the successful implementation of Netwitness giving DoITT security experts situational awareness and the agility to adapt to the changing threat landscape.
- Key knowledge areas include an in depth understanding of the security architecture of Citynet as well network topologies and communications protocols.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- At least 8 years of experience with network security design in a large scale WAN environment consisting of at least 100,000 endpoints.
- Able to use advanced debugging techniques including analysis of dump files, tracing, and performance tuning and monitoring.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE :
- Experience with IDS and SIEM is desired.
- Hands on Forensic experience.
