Job Title: Professional Services Project Manager

Duration:1+year Contract

Job Location(s): Wellesley, MA, US

 

 

Description:

·         Roles and responsibilities For purposes of integrating its mobile wallet functionality and Point of Sale (POS) capability.

·         The Client solution ships with a Single Sign On framework, a mobile application SDK, and a Point of Sale SDK.

·         Implementation projects for Client customers entail integrating one or more of these, as well as the development of new integrations with payment switches, gateways, payment processors, or custom mobile application functionality.

·         The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for working directly with Client customers and internal software development engineering resources to manage projects requiring the implementation and integration of the Client software with its customers’ applications in these various areas.

·         Specifically, the PM will need to:

·         Work with the customer and internal resources to understand and/or define the requirements for the integrated solution, the functional architecture for the solution, and the resource level of effort in delivering the solution.

·         Engage with a customer in during the sales cycle to help formulate a Statement of Work for the project based on the data collected above.

·         Work with the customer to create an implementation project plan, track status (both the internal development team and the customer development team) against the plan, and drive resources to successfully achieve the plan.

·         Report on the status of the project, track issues being encountered and drive them to resolution, and escalate risks to the timeframe or deliverability of the project as appropriate.

·         Serve as the single point of contact to the customers’ technical and business teams. Assist in developing technical and operational goals and plans, track technical issues and product features requested by the customer, and own responsibility for general account satisfaction.

·         Skill set Minimum Requirements

·         Client is looking for the best combination of skills across a number of areas. Above all, a hyper-focus on customer success, accompanied by the determination and energy to achieve the customer’s objectives, is mandatory.

 

Candidates must meet one or more of the following minimum requirements in order to be considered:

         Strong experience with Project Management principles

         5 years experience as a Project Manager in a Technology Provider’s Professional Services organization

         Experience “implementing” and “integrating” packaged software

         Experience defining the specifications for, and executing, an integration of technology platforms

         A technical acumen capable of quickly assimilating wireless, network or mobile skills

         10 years experience working in or for a Technology Provider / Software Company

         High “eQ” and customer facing skills

         Strong presence and consulting confidence

         Four year college degree

         Ability to use Microsoft Office

·         Desired / Optional Skills:

         Mobile application development or support experience

         Wireless networking - carrier based and/or Wi-Fi solutions

         Small merchant or large institution networking principles

         Point of Sale hardware or software familiarity

         PMP Certification

 

Special Skills:

A demonstrated track record of going above and beyond to reach customer success is mandatory. Travel to customer sites is required.
