Overview: This is a position on the operations team that builds and maintains the SiteMinder infrastructure. This involves building and configuring the SiteMinder policy servers and associated directory servers. The environment is 100% UNIX, currently running on Solaris 10 with plans to migrate to Red Hat Linux.

 

Duties associated with the position include building new servers, performing changes as indicated by the engineering team as well as ensuring the ongoing health and operation of the environment.

 

Experience requirements: This position requires at least 5 years experience associated with building and configuring SiteMinder R6 or R12 policy servers in a UNIX environment. This needs to include configuring the policy servers by modification of the configuration and reference files rather than using the management console. The candidate also needs to be familiar with various logs created by SiteMinder and be able to obtain information from them for troubleshooting,
