Position: Informatica Developer 

Location: Roseland, NJ (NEED LOCAL)

Duration: 6 months 

Job Summary

Provides Business Intelligence data model and data integration solutions on complex BI projects. Partners with business owners and technology liaisons to translate requirements into complete data warehouse. Designs and develops logical/physical data models, data integration, data transformation and data loads.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

3-5 years of Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence experience required

Knowledge and Skills

3-5 years of logical and physical data model development using Erwin

3-5 years of ETL development

Ability to perform data analysis and data profiling

Experience in developing dimensional models with conformed dimensions

Experience with OLAP development

A good working knowledge of Oracle DBMS & MS SQL Server DBMS

Knowledge of Agile data warehouse delivery methodologies

Skill in developing technical specifications documentation

Ability to design, develop, and deploy new solutions while supporting and enhancing existing enterprise solutions

Preferred tools experience include Informatica PowerCenter 8.x/9.x, Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica Data Explorer (IDE) and Erwin

Knowledge of Cognos 8.4 /Cognos 10 is a plus 

Good oral and written communication skills are expected of the successful candidate
