Role : Java Developer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Need locals)

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Candidates MUST have strong JSF ) and MUST be strong with both Hibernate, AJAX and Spring - these must be demonstrated and documented skills. WebLogic is a plus but not required.
Job Description:		We are seeking a Sr. Java/J2EE developer to assist our client in the Pittsburgh area for a contract assignment. Technical Skills: Minimum of seven 5 years of Java development and J2EE experience. Minimum of five (5) years of system design. Two (2) years of Hibernate, JSF, Spring, and AJAX PL/SQL, SQL, Eclipse, Unix and JDBC experience Experience with WebLogic would be a plus Education/Experience   • Bachelor's degree/equivalent in computer science, MIS or related discipline • 5+ years experience in systems development and the skills/platform/environment requested by client • Skills and Competencies: • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills • Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue • Full working knowledge of an application development language /package, program design, application development methodology   Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:   • Gathers user requirements data in order to prepare functional specifications • Designs and transforms user requirements into an application program for a data processing system • Works on highly complex projects and provides technical direction. Participates in the total design of major software systems • Writes business/technical or design specifications/documentation
