Position :Data Migration Developer

Location: Fremont and Palo Alto, CA

Duration:6 Months

Description:

Client is currently seeking a data migration developer to join our Dynamics AX implementation project.

Responsibilities:

·         Work with the project system analyst to design, and develop 

data migration queries to extract and transform SAP source data (via data connector) to Excel spreadsheet import templates

·         Work with the quality assurance team to design post-

migration verification scripts and processes

·         Execute the data migrations for quality assurance testing, 

user acceptance testing, pilot cutovers, and production cutover Requirements

·         5 years of advanced Microsoft SQL server T-SQL query 

development experience

·         Mid-level ability to create SQL Server Integration Services 

ETL jobs to execute queries and output to Excel files

·         Lead data migration role on at least two ERP or similar 

system implementations that achieved go-live

·         Understanding of query design patterns utilized in data 

migration scenarios

·         Demonstrated experience importing and exporting data from a 

variety of database applications

·         General accounting, business process, and development 

knowledge in one or more areas of:

o   General Ledger

o   Multi-company / Multi-currency

o   Accounts Payable

o   Accounts Receivable

o   Fixed assets

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, 

or similar with at least 5 years of progressive data experience

·         Preferred skills and experience:

o   Experience working at an ERP system implementer / VAR

o   SAP data exposure
