ORACLE PL/SQL DEVELOPER NEEDED

 

Rate: upto 50$

Location – Warrendale (Pittsburgh area)
Duration –6 months

Client is Federated investors.. banking and investments

Interview mode: phone only.

 

Skills Required: -


Oracle 11g, Oracle PL/SQL, Linux or Unix Shell scripting (bash or korn), BMC Control-M, ETL, SQL Developer, Toad, ERWIN.

Duties & Responsibilities:-


Develop, enhance, maintain & support code for existing Investment Management system (SIRS). This candidate will be eligible for large & small project work as well as day to day support.

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, comparable technical/engineering field, or equivalent work experience required

 

Five to seven years team-oriented development experience in a client-server relational database environment required

 

Proficiency in server-based SQL programming and batch development/support required

 

Minimum five years programming experience in Oracle PL/SQL with 10g or 11g required

 

Experience with Windows Batch/ Power Shell and/or Linux Scripting required

 

Experience with Web Sphere MQ 7.0, Web Sphere Message Broker Flow strongly preferred

 

Business Knowledge in Investment Management preferred

 

Prior experience in BMC control-m and ECS preferred

 

Microsoft VB and VB.net preferred

 

Prior experience with Charles River and Bloomberg application support and or development preferred

MAJOR DUTIES:

 

 

Design, develop, test and implement solutions to problems involving multiple technologies, with direction, utilizing advanced specialized technical skills

Develop logical and physical data models and/or other types of designs for relatively complex technical solutions to system or business problems in adherence with departmental standards

Design, document, modify, test and maintain programs, scripts and modules to meet changing business needs.

 

Keep abreast of advances and developing trends and standards in technology

 

Initiate communication with other lead technical staff as needed to facilitate the most effective and efficient solution

 

Serve as technical mentor to department staff who are less experienced in the relevant technologies

 

Provide day-to-day technical direction to staff relative to the technical aspects of a project or support function

 

Maintain and develop a suite of client-server applications that support business needs\
