We have an urgent requirement of Senior Data Modeler with one of our direct client in MN.

 

Location: Saint Paul, MN

Duration: 10 Months

Start Date: 6^th June 2013

 

DUTIES

1. assist in the development of data conversion plans necessary for the conversion from the legacy system to Facets, and
2. will lead the development of a model which integrates data from two claims processing systems, legacy and new, into one data warehouse.
3. In conjunction with other technical staff on the project team, work could include:

·         Create data the conversion map required for successfully moving data from the legacy system to the new system

·         Create the model/schema for the data warehouse which fulfills operational, audit and regulatory requirements. 

·         Perform analysis on report needs and assist with the development of report specifications

·         Assist with ETL work as required

·         Ensure technical documentation is complete

 

Skill Sets Needed:                                                                                                                                                

·         Highly experienced with relational data modeling

·         Expert SQL skills

·         Demonstrated ability to analyze data for business rules definition and validation

·         Prior experience with health care payer data and/or Trizetto Facets and/or GE's business centricity products preferred

·         Experience with ERWIN preferred

·         Experience with ETL best practices

·         Experience with QA best practices

·         Understanding of data warehouse principles and structure

·         Strong analytical and technical skills

·         Good verbal and written communication
