Sr. IT Business Analyst	Minneapolis	10+ months

 

Role:

 

The Senior IT Business Analyst will provide BA services for the implementation of Facets as well as the build and design of the warehouse and associated reports.        

 

In conjunction with other technical staff on the project team, work could include:

 

·         Finalization of BRDs with business staff

·         Create technical design documentation from new business requirements

·         Assist business in developing use cases for UAT

·         Exact requirements for data mapping from legacy claims system to new claims system

·         Identification of data requirements for test execution and development

·         Analyze system/application requirements and strategize solutions

·                     Report project status to project stakeholders as needed

·                     Troubleshoot and resolve testing and development issues

·         Review requirements for completeness, testability and adherence to standards

·                     Prepare documentation as needed for future audits

·                     Actively participate as a member of the project team

 

Skill Sets Needed:                                                                                                                                                

·                     Experience with the SQL Server environment

·                     Experience with QA best practices

·                     Experience with ETL best practices

·                     Understanding of data warehouse principles and structure

·                     Strong analytical and technical skills

·                     Good verbal and written communication

·                     Prior experience with health care payer back office functions, government programs and/or the Facets product preferred

 

List of Deliverables, e.g. what the consultant(s) will be expected to accomplish: ­                                                            

                                                                                                                                                                                   

·         Regular status reports

·         Identification and estimation of BA tasks for the overall project plan

·         Assist in developing the design for data warehouse

·         Follow issue management process and manage it in cooperation with project management

·         BA documentation created/utilized in the project

·         Other project documentation, as assigned (e.g. Use cases, technical design documents, etc.)

·         Active project team member
