Core DB Technologies: - (Core DBA/APPS DBA)
- Oracle database concepts
- Good hands on experience in handling the issues on the core Oracle architectural components
- (Space, Memory, UNDO, Temp, Redo/Archive and other background processes)Good troubleshooting skills on the DB related issues and errors
- SQL Tuning knowledge
- Hands on in overall system performance tuning
- Statspack and AWR report analysis and interpretation
- Hands on in various backup methods and the recovery processes
- Oracle RAC administration and performance analysis
- Knowledge on CRS and maintenance
- Installation experience on various Oracle database versions
- Knowledge on code tree build and maintenance
- Knowledge on Oracle RDBMS patching on single node and RAC environments
Database Cloning/Refresh
- ERP and Middle Tier Technologies: - (APPS DBA)
- Oracle Applications 11i/R12 experience and expertise
- Installation experience on Apps 11i & R12
- Knowledge in Oracle Work Flow administration
- Trouble shooting knowledge in APPS middle tier (iAS), forms and concurrent managers
- Parallel Concurrent Process administration (PCP)
- Installation and configuration on Oracle iAS servers
- Tuning the middle tier layers (Oracle iAS)
- Knowledge on database, middle tier and apps upgrades
- Knowledge on Application patch analysis and installation

Qualifications:
Need candidates who can come for in-person interview
Need Oracle DBA with experience with Logical structures who possesses knowledge on Oracle Golden Gate, Exadata, XMLDB & OEM Grid control.
Help migrate all existing databases from Oracle 10gR2 Solaris to 11gR2 on Exadata.
Help design and implement active-active & active-passive site to site replication using Golden Gate, character set conversion for few databases from us7ascii to utf8.
- Cross-team collaboration (interaction with Physical DBA's, SA's, Application developers, QA teams)
- Deliver database projects per schedule and helping implement OEM for monitoring, reporting and proactive performance tuning.
- Proactive Performance tuning of applications to leverage Exadata features for optimal application performance, security, capacity management and automation.
- Help facilitate database migration from 10g to 11gR2 and work with development team to test application, modify code to take advantage of new 11g features and Exadata features.
- Help implement conflict resolution techniques for bi-directional asynchronous replication with Golden Gate.
- Maintain and administer databases and supporting automation (e.g. database objects, security roles, capacity, performance tuning, import/export, alert rules)
- Participate in database infrastructure/future-state design planning and implementation.
- Understand & analyze software compatibility issues with Oracle 11gR2 (Ex: Weblogic to Oracle RDBMS compatibility, Drivers compatibility etc).
- Possess strong working knowledge of High Availability, Backup and Recovery options and help to implement solutions.
- Implement and configure database monitoring scripts and tools.
