Location: San Jose, CA

Looking for a Project Manager to assist and support the team with the implementation and roll out of a major business service. 

 

Responsibilities:
- Develop project plan encompassing all work activities and dependent teams for multiple concurrent and related project releases 
- Manage scope and risk to ensure business focused project delivery on-time, within scope and with the allotted resources 
- Organize essential cross functional meetings as part of the CSDM governance model 
- Maintain project communications and status tracking via IWE 
- Track and manage stakeholder dependencies and external risks 
- Develop and implement comprehensive operations plan, either in a lead role or in support of Operations lead, to enable the new service be quoted, ordered, sold, entitled, invoiced, renewed from an end-to-end perspective. 
- Contribute to project success though ownership and execution of tasks or solutions that lead to meeting timelines or milestones as a contributing member of the project team 
- Own and drive cross functional stakeholder meetings to gain feedback and acceptance of project solutions & deliverables 
- Perform business analysts tasks as needed 

Scope of Services Operations:

The following functional areas are in scope in a new Services Introduction project. The project manager will need develop and manage project plan in the following areas: 
- Develop Supporting Service levels and skus meeting business requirements defined by Service Product Management. Service Levels (GSP) and SKUs may contain many attributes in various areas in enterprise systems. Key attribute areas include 
- Financial information and reporting hierarchy 
- ERP product hierarchy 
- Marketing hierarchy 
- Coverage Template (services entitlement business rules) 
- Pricing methodology (fixed, adjustable, reference, etc) 
- Order validation rules 
- Partner Program attributes (CSPP) 
- Service program eligibility 
- Sku Mapping attributes 
- Sales Process definition 
- Presales registration and deal approval 
- Quoting and Ordering process 
- Entitlement and contract management 
- Network reconciliation process 
- End of life strategy and migration process 
Ad Hoc Manual process 
- Partner on boarding and eligibility setup 
- CSPP (Partner Program) and Qual Code setup to determine eligibility and visibility in tools by partners 
- Financial Management 
- Work with finance to ensure the new service offer addresses all financial components such as GL account, reporting hierarchy, TS/AS splits, etc. 
- Goal To Commission 
- Work with Goal to commission team to ensure the service offer is accurately compensating sales teams 
- Change Mgmt and training support 
- Direct or indirect support of change management and training deliverables 
- Contribute content for purposes of sales operations training documentation 

Skills/qualifications:
 
- BA/BS degree and 8+ years of project Management experience

- Must have be assertive, ability to manage details and have superior analysis, problem solving and data organization skill set. 
- Expertise with MS Project or similar

- Strong understanding of industry business processes related to service product lifecycle, sales, order fulfillment, billing and service cycle 
- Strong partnering, influencing & communication skills for all levels (i.e. individuals at the peer, management and executive level)
- Ability to manage multiple intersecting and fluid project plans 
- Excellent organization, communication skills and a team player
- Experience in the Technology Services Industry
- PMP Certification or similar is highly desirable
