I need a strong SAP DSD LEAD Functional Analyst to work onsite here in Marshall.  This must be a lead person.  Read the manager's notes below. Don't waste your time sending unqualified candidates.

 

We have limited competition and a direct relationship with the manager.  With the amount of SAP candidates that we have seen before, please only send your best. 

Location is Marshall, MN, a small town in southern MN. Marshall is 2 ½-3 hours southwest of Minneapolis, MN. 

Duration is 6+ months with likely extensions. We usually see extensions for good performers.

Location – Must work onsite in Marshall, MN

Need great communicators.

 

Details from the manager on the position:

 

We are looking for this person to begin in June and the expectations that this project would last at least through 2013.

We will be looking for this person to fill more of a leadership role and our expectations are much higher for this resource than others that we have requested to be just a functional analyst. 

 

Excellent communication and presentation skills.  Ability to explain complex SAP processes to business users and IT resources and management

 

DSD industry experience, experience implementing SAP DSD

Knowledge of SAP Inventory Management processes

Lead experience on multiple projects both with internal customer resources and other external resources

Knowledge of EDI and functions for processing IDOC's for shipping, receiving and inventory movements

Quick learner – must be able to "hit the ground running" and bring ideas forward to the business during requirements discussions.  Will not be leading requirements discussion, but will be expected to provide input

ABAP knowledge for writing functional specs and debugging ABAP code (attached is an example of the functional spec template we use at Schwan's for a reference as to what will be expected)

Integration experience with non-SAP systems

Will lead integrations discussions and design of integrations to non-SAP systems

 

Works with SQA resources to ensure processes are tested thoroughly – probably lower priority

SQL query experience and understanding.  – probably lower priority
