Job Description

Client is seeking a Network Consulting Engineer with a focus on network and information security to support customers in the Pacific Northwest. Candidate will be part of regional delivery team supporting the planning, design, and implementation of internetworking solutions for customers.

 

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS

* Ability to produce business justifications, capture solution requirements, devise customer solutions, plan and implement customer solutions, recommend change management procedures.

* Project leadership ability through full lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, and optimization.

* Expertise with routing and switching infrastructures, collaboration solutions (voice, video, Cisco Telepresence, instant messaging, desktop sharing), data center and cloud solutions

* Specific experience with 802.1x, Cisco ISE (wired, wireless, and VPN), Cisco ACS, identity-related architectures and solutions, complex VPN solutions (GETVPN, DMVPN, zero-touch deployments related to CVO and Cisco Prime).

* Consultative ability to establish trusted advisor status with both engineers and executives

* 50% domestic travel, including Alaska and Hawaii

* Minimum 5 years in infrmation security

* Minimum 3 years consulting experience

* Minimum 1 year specialization with identity solutions and products (ACS, Cisco, ISE, 802.1x)

* Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or mathematics

 

DESIRED SKILLS

* Ability to assist customers with IT governance, risk management, and compliance programs

* Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification

* Master's degree in science, engineering, or mathematics
