§  Key Skills and Competencies

§  Must have at least  8 years of experience in Relational as well as Dimensional Data Modeling. §  Must have done modeling for three years in transaction based environment. §  Must have modeled business scenarios covering transaction related to various subject areas such as Customer , Product, Sales , Marketing, Finance and logistics . If not all at least in four of these subject areas. §  Must have worked in a Data warehouse environment comprising 3rd Normal form and Dimensional data structure for at least two projects. §  Must have modeled at least 500 - 700 attributes in these environments. Ability to model business real world scenarios is a must. §  Preferable to have  online commerce  business knowledge. §  Should be able to independently  write SQL queries and check the model as part of validation. §  Shall have experience in direct client interaction. §  Preferable to have good knowledge on set theory.   §  Shall have exposure to BFSI , or Healthcare, or Telecom verticals . Additional domain expertise is also welcome. §  Ability to communicate with the client §  Ability to drive the modeling process. §  Shall have exposure to ERWIN data modeling tool or any other tool such as Power designer, or SQL data modeler. §  Shall have very good understanding of meta data . If worked in MDM environment will be an added advantage.
