Candidate must be comfortable Leading creation of an automation framework for testing…

Browser based applications

Navigation across a UI

Verifying javascript HTTP calls yield expected results for every page

Asynchronous database results based on browser activity

Verify browser activity made it to a big data database

 

 

Testing lead responsible for design, develop, documentation and execution of automated testing activities for shared Data Platform.

 

Responsible for ensuring all deliverables are of high quality and result in an end-to-end customer experience with a high degree of compliance with business and technical requirements, software architecture/design documents, and product and process documentation

 

Actively participate in defining test strategies and tasks, estimating work and monitoring progress against milestones.

 

Partner with the development team in all project phases to ensure deliverables satisfy requirements and achieve desired level of quality.

 

Engage other quality engineers for feedback on testing strategies, new test framework designs, and especially for code reviews on the implementation of test code

 

Influence the inclusion of testability requirements during design and development phases.

 

Contribute to continuous process improvements to increase efficiency on both the project team as well as in the QA organization.

 

Participate in design and code reviews

Evaluate and refractor existing test automation as necessary to maintain established levels
