Title: SAP ABAP Analyst
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ
Job Description:
This will entail planning, designing, developing, testing, coordinating, and implementing SAP business application programs to migrate business processes from existing 4.6C system to an existing ECC6.0 environment for all for RICEF objects
- Collaborates with functional team members, and other stakeholders to understand and document specific details regarding requirements; Evaluates solution alternatives and advises options, risk and benefits; Makes recommendations and presents potential solutions to business analysts, functional team IT management team
- Develops design and technical specifications that provide specific guidance to software developers to affect solutions using standard technical approaches that can be readily understood and maintained by other technical staff.
- When required, develop/modify ABAP code for RICEF objects.
- Review code changes made by developers, guide them as required.
- Ensure coding standards are followed.
- Develop and foster good business relationships and coordinate activities with internal customers and other IT colleagues to ensure successful project implementation
- Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions
- Participates in all phases of the software development lifecycle including the analysis, design, test, implementation of changes, and post-production support.
Desired Skills & Experience
- 5 years working on the technical side of SAP ERP applications.
- Must have participated in at least 1 SAP implementation.
- Extensive working knowledge of the SAP ABAP Workbench, ABAP programming, SAP Data Dictionary, ALV including SAP design and coding techniques.
- Specific knowledge of how to program user exits
- Understanding of the SAP table structures, SAP scripting, Workflow programming.
- Experience in software unit and integration testing.
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter and resourceful hands on Problem solver and highly organized.
