Position: Linux System Administrator
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ Month Contract
Primary Job Responsibilities:
This position is a bridge between development and operations, focusing on development infrastructure, build process and deployment. The candidate will work as part of operations department managing engineering requirements across the network. Someone with experience supporting development operations or release engineering will fit right in to this role. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for being on the pager rotation for production support and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements:
In depth knowledge of Linux with a preference towards Redhat
Performance tuning of Apache Tomcat and JBoss application servers
Experience managing clusters of web servers
Experience with software deployment to clusters
Supporting standard Linux stack applications such as web services (Apache/ngix/etc.) shell scripting NFS, mail servers name servers, etc.
Basic knowledge of networking
