Job Description:
Qualifications
• At least 5 to 7 years of web and Java/J2EE development experience
• Must have prior cross-platform code migration experience from WAS (Websphere application server) to Tomcat
• Demonstrates hands-on expertise in J2EE technologies, EJBs, LDAP integration, LDAP query language
• Expert understanding at implementing Web Services
• Proven working knowledge of Eclipse IDE, ANT, SVN\CVS, Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures and experience with Oracle database fundamentals (Oracle 10g, 11g)
• Extensive experience troubleshooting complex software modules by applying methodological approach
• Keen understanding of performance issues and end to end debugging capabilities
• Must be able to build, deploy, unit test and check logs for errors in development tomcat or jboss instance
• Knowledge of TOMCAT and JBOSS administration is preferable
• Development experience with Messaging(MQ/JMS) based Integration applications is preferable
• Self-starter and able to perform with minimal supervision while working in a diverse team environment following Agile processes for software development
• Familiarity with release management/source control systems (e.g. CVS, Subversion)
• Experience with Agile software development practices is preferable
• Detail oriented with Excellent communication (written and oral) and teamwork skills
